Founded by award-winning journalist and publisher Romail Gulzar, who brings over 20 years of experience in digital and television journalism, Brit Punjabi was launched in April 2025 to serve the vibrant South Asian community across England.

Our platform is dedicated to covering culture, events, entertainment, business, and news that matter to our audience. We are passionate about sharing and archiving the remarkable stories of ordinary people with extraordinary experiences, particularly those with Punjabi heritage from India, Pakistan, or any other Punjabi-speaking background.

Pukaar Group is also behind the renowned print and digital publication Pukaar Magazine, as well as online news platforms Pukaar News and Leicester Times.
