Last night marked a proud moment for event organiser Pam Suri as she hosted the very first International Social Media Awards ceremony in London.
An event she describes as refreshingly honest in an industry often criticised for its lack of transparency. Pam, well known for her successful events, told Brit Punjabi that honesty was the driving force behind this new venture. “I always look for challenges in life, and about 60% of my clients do too. I wanted to offer them something different — something real,” she said. “I sat in my office, put on my thinking cap, and decided to create these awards. My goal was simple: the deserving people must get recognised, honestly.”
Pam was clear about her motivation. “I’ve made a name in the event industry for my work, and I want to do the same in the awards world. But the key is honesty. I believe honesty is a long road — it’s not easy — but in the end, truth always wins.”
She also highlighted a major issue in the awards sector: “I must say, 90 to 95 per cent of awards out there are business-driven and, frankly, fake. But my awards are different. They are very honest.”
The International Social Media Awards ceremony, held in a lively and celebratory atmosphere in London, honoured individuals and businesses who truly deserve recognition for their achievements and integrity.
Pam plans to take her awards international, with upcoming events in India and Dubai, reflecting her vision of celebrating genuine talent worldwide.
Attendees praised Pam’s commitment to fairness and transparency, marking this event as a fresh and much-needed addition to the awards landscape.
For the British Punjabi community and beyond, Pam Suri’s honest International Social Media Awards offer a hopeful new way to celebrate real success.
