Leicester, UK – Renowned Punjabi film actor, director, and writer S. Jarnail Singh, who began his career in 1979 with the film Mahi Munda, has launched his inspirational show ‘Siyane Kehnde Ne’.
The debut performance, held at the Avanti School auditorium in Hamilton, Leicester, attracted over 100 attendees. Since then, the show has also been performed in Birmingham.
Singh highlighted the significance of the production for South Asian communities worldwide, emphasising that the show helps maintain a vital connection to Punjabi roots and culture.
He expressed his excitement for the upcoming 2026 UK tour, particularly its start in Leicester, a city celebrated for its multiculturalism and vibrant Punjabi-speaking community.

Event organiser Randhir Singh of 5VP Media explained that the tour aims to deliver quality content for South Asian families as well as wider audiences. He described Leicester as the natural starting point due to its diverse population and strong Punjabi-speaking community, as well as being his hometown. The positive turnout of over 100 attendees at the inaugural show bodes well for the rest of the tour.
The UK tour is scheduled to conclude with its final performance on 24 January 2026 at Pioneer Secondary School in Slough.
